Application of Broadband Amplifiers in Ultrasound Reflection Imaging Studies of CMUT Arrays
Experiment Name: Ultrasound Reflection Imaging Study of CMUT Arrays
Experimental Principle:
Ultrasound tomography imaging technology reconstructs the internal structure of an object based on ultrasound data detected externally. Ultrasound CT technology was initially inspired by the theories and implementation methods of X-ray CT technology, with early research primarily focused on theoretical exploration of image reconstruction.

In the experiment, silicone oil was selected as the testing medium. The object under test and the transducer array were both immersed in the silicone oil, and all array elements were configured in receive mode for experimental testing. The signal generator and power amplifier were used to provide high-frequency and adjustable electrical signals, enabling the generation of ultrasonic waves. Directly driving the CMUT with a power amplifier simplified circuit design and offered more flexible control. Finally, the reflected signal waveforms were observed and data were stored using an oscilloscope.
