Application of ATA-2161 High-Voltage Amplifier in Microfluidic Technology for Cell Sorting
High-voltage amplifiers are professional electronic testing devices used to amplify low-voltage signals into high-voltage signals. They are widely applied in many fields, such as microfluidics. Today, we will share the application of the ATA-2161 high-voltage amplifier in microfluidic technology for cell sorting.
In this experiment, we will use the ATA-2161 high-voltage amplifier, oscilloscope, signal source, as well as a fluorescence microscope, microfluidic chip, laser, data acquisition card, high-speed camera, and other equipment.

Experiment Overview:
We constructed a fluorescence detection system by coupling the microfluidic chip with an optical system. Using the ATA-2161 high-voltage amplifier, a 10 Vpp signal was amplified to over 1.5 kV to apply dielectrophoretic force to microdroplets, causing them to deflect or undergo electropolymerization. This process enables high-throughput sorting and fusion of microdroplets.
