Application of the ATA-214 High-Voltage Amplifier in Ultrasonic Cleaning Experiments
Experiment Name: Ultrasonic Cleaning Experiment
Experiment Principle: Ultrasonic cleaning involves converting the sound energy generated by ultrasonic transducers into mechanical vibrations. These vibrations are then radiated into the cleaning solution within the cleaning tank via the tank walls. Under the influence of ultrasonic waves, the tiny bubbles in the cleaning solution vibrate, achieving the cleaning effect.
Testing Equipment: High-voltage amplifier, signal generator, oscilloscope, ultrasonic transducer, etc.

A signal generator outputs two sine wave signals with a phase difference of 90°, a frequency of 28kHz, and an amplitude of 4Vpp. These signals are input into two ATA-214 high-voltage amplifiers, which amplify the signals to output a voltage of 400Vpp. These amplified signals are used to drive two ultrasonic transducers.
Experimental Results:
When ultrasonic waves are radiated into the cleaning solution, the tiny bubbles vibrate under the influence of the sound waves. It is evident that the dirt on the metal components is being cleaned off. This frequency range is suitable for the initial cleaning of coarse and dirty metal components.
Role of the Power Amplifier: To provide a high stability, low-distortion AC signal of 400Vpp to drive the ultrasonic transducers.
