Power Amplifier Drives Signal Transceiver Testing for Novel Long-Wave Communication Antenna

Author:Aigtek Number:0 Date:2026-01-08

Experiment Name: Signal Transceiver Testing of a Novel Long-Wave Communication Antenna Driven by a Power Amplifier

Experimental Content:
First, an AC electrical signal is generated using a signal generator and amplified to an RMS value of 30 V using a power amplifier. This amplified signal is then connected to a novel magnetoelectric antenna to drive mechanical vibrations. Due to the inverse magnetoelectric effect of the antenna, electromagnetic waves are radiated outward. A solenoid coil is used as the receiver to convert the radiated electromagnetic signals back into electrical signals. The signal amplitude and frequency spectrum are then detected using an oscilloscope and a dynamic signal analyzer.

Experimental Procedure:
A modulated signal is generated using a signal generator and amplified by a power amplifier to drive the antenna with an RMS value of 30 V, transmitting the signal outward. The transmitted signal is then received by a coil, and after amplification, filtering, detection, and comparison, the demodulated signal is obtained, completing the communication signal transmission. Additionally, the signal strength and frequency spectrum distribution are analyzed using a signal analyzer.

Experimental Results:
The measurement results show that the 30 V signal amplified by the power amplifier effectively drives the long-wave antenna device to radiate signals outward. Spectrum measurements reveal that the magnetoelectric antenna structure exhibits two distinct resonance peaks, with an inverse magnetoelectric conversion coefficient as high as 1.4 Oe/V. At a distance of 0.8 m, it achieves nT-level electromagnetic radiation, and the radiation magnetic field exhibits a cubic decay relationship with distance. Communication test results indicate that the magnetoelectric antenna structure has a wide communication bandwidth and can achieve 1 kHz modulated signal communication.
