Application of the ATA-2082 High Voltage Amplifier in the Study of Nanoimprint Actuators
Experiment Title: Experimental Study of Nanoimprint Actuators
Testing Equipment: ATA-2082 High Voltage Amplifier, Signal Generator, Laser Displacement Sensor, Controller, etc.
Experiment Process:
Figure 1: Experimental Platform
An experimental platform as shown in Figure 1 was set up. The experimental process is as follows: The excitation signal output from the signal generator is amplified by the high voltage amplifier and then transmitted to the piezoelectric ceramic. The positive signal is transmitted to the outer electrodes of the two piezoelectric ceramic plates, while the negative signal is connected to the bolt at the end of the actuator beam. The laser displacement sensor and its controller are powered by a 24V power supply and controlled by software on a computer to set various parameters of the laser displacement sensor. The measurement range of the laser displacement sensor is limited, so before measurement, it is necessary to ensure the distance between the sensor and the surface to be measured, and the displacement distance of the measured surface must be within the measurement range of the sensor.
Experimental Results:
Figure 2: Measurement of Actuator Bending Direction Vibration Using a Laser Displacement Sensor
Based on the simulation results obtained from the simulation software, the resonance frequency of the actuator is around 40kHz. A sine wave signal with a frequency range of 38kHz to 42kHz is generated by the signal generator, amplified to 150V by the high voltage amplifier, and then transmitted to the piezoelectric ceramic. The laser displacement sensor collects the displacement data of the actuator tip under different frequency sine excitation signals to obtain the amplitude of the actuator tip at different frequencies. The resonance frequency and amplitude of the actuator are determined based on the obtained data.
